In 2006 the Communications in Business study consulted a total of 354 senior communications professionals, who gave views on their business goals and the image and profile of the main suppliers.
The report includes valuable data on converged IP networks, billing, broadband, future spending and business strategy and plans.
For example, with broadband we found that 41 per cent of businesses still say that their own businesses and public service organisations could not get Broadband where they needed it (down from 54 per cent last year) and almost three quarters want SDSL but can't get it where they need it.
On convergence, two thirds said VoIP was the strongest driver for deploying converged networks.
While 91 per cent said their spending on IP services would either increase again or stay the same in the next 12 months.
