Notable Achievements:
Rescued a stagnating programme to build a new operations centre for a government agency. Delivered on-time and to-budget.
Identified programme threats and implemented mechanisms to deliver success whilst assuring a critical programme of change for an expanding Government agency.
Set up Atalanta Associates Ltd to provide management consultancy to secure Government. Grew VEGA team at the Defence Communications Service Agency from 3 to 35 over 2 years. Managed account and provided focus for client. Provided "pastoral" care for team members. Established the baseline of all TS systems and applications within MoD on behalf of DG Info. Managed provision of application services over the SYNERGY infrastructure to Deployed HM Forces in Iraq.

Managed programme comprising innovative technical change and a national roll-out, all within a highly secure environment. Incorporated user community and benefits realisation. Project Manager. Contracted by a Government Agency to bring rigour to the construction and delivery of a substantial Operations Centre. Improved stakeholder management and established processes for improved communications between managers of component projects and tasks. Rationalised financial reporting. Established position of trust with suppliers and client. Provided on-site troubleshooting and speedy problem resolution for the benefit of suppliers and the client.
Programme Assurance Manager to a Government Agency. Contracted to assure the transfer-in of a critical business area from another Government department and, in particular, a new �£30M installation in NI. Set up structures to ensure successful delivery including change control, shared registers for risks and issues, and testing. Introduced product ownership and management of shared risks and issues. Established the means to provide risk reduction and evidence-based assurance that the solution "will work". Identified need for, and provided on-site management of suppliers and delivery to ensure a working solution was delivered.
