Crime & Security
About Crime & Security
The security of both ICT infrastructure and business information is critical to maintaining user trust and confidence. Yet security still tends to be viewed as a technical matter rather than a mainstream business issue; it also consists, to a large extent, of human behaviour and our knowledge of threats and remedies.
Risk to business is central to the forum's work. We provide members with practical, hype-free information to help promote good industry practice, increase competency and serve as a catalyst for change.
The priorities identified for the Crime & Security Forum are:
- Security & Governance
- Protection of personal data
- Identity theft
- Terrorism
