Women in Telecoms and Technology Group Meeting

19/05/10 (Supported Event)

The next meeting of the Women in Telecoms and Technology Group (WiTT) will be held on Wednesday 19 May from 6pm at Charles Russell located at 5 Fleet Place, London EC4M 7RD (http://www.multimap.com/s/vkkg2LVg).

Our guest speaker for the evening is Professor Paul Brown who poses the question "Is the future of organisations going forward going to favour women?" Dr. Brown is a clinical and organisational psychologist who has been studying, among many things, the workings of the brain and how the natural differences in brain composition of the sexes are reflected in organisational behaviour and operations.  He will be joined by Ms. Celia Carrington, Deputy Chief Executive of Swindon Borough Council, for a part of the discussion to talk about how some of these newer theories are being put into operational practice today in the UK.

We hope you will be able to join us for what looks like a very entertaining evening on 19 May and perhaps invite a friend or colleague.

The agenda for the meeting will be:

1800: Networking and welcome drinks

19.00: Event commences

20:30: Informal networking

Please RSVP to Caroline O'Flaherty at
caroline.oflaherty@btinternet.com  by close on Friday 14 May.
